This knowledge base uses artificial intelligence to enhance user experience through completely client-side processing. No data ever leaves your browser. All AI use is transparently documented and complies with modern interpretations of EU AI Act requirements.

1. How We Use AI in Our Knowledge Base​

Our knowledge base employs AI technology to enhance the practical value of organizational effectiveness insights across all dimensions of technology company operations. We use AI selectively and transparently to support analysis and decision-making in:

All AI analysis and suggestions are identified through explanation boxes that describe the specific AI technology used and its purpose.

Scope of AI Application​

Framework vs. Tool Distinction

Our AI tools may analyze and provide insights on any aspect of organizational effectiveness, including but not limited to:

  • People: Team dynamics, leadership approaches, organizational culture

Important: Some of the underlying methodologies and frameworks (such as Core Domains from Domain-Driven Design) are established concepts developed by their respective creators. However, the interactive web tools that implement these frameworks are our own creation, some of which are enhanced with AI (and clearly described when) to provide better analysis and insights.

Some AI-enhanced tools may make use of AI models provided by third parties, such as "Ollama" or "Qwuen". When this is the case we describe it. Please note, even though the vendor of a model is a third-party, we have no data connection with those third parties and your data remains in the same in-memory browser-only environment.

We clearly distinguish between human expertise and AI assistance through semantic HTML structure and comprehensive explanation sections:

Modern Machine-Readable Implementation​

Our approach recognizes that in 2025, "machine-readable" means content that modern AI systems can parse and understand semantically. We use:

  • Standard HTML structure with contextual content organization
  • Natural language explanations in dedicated sections that describe AI technology use
  • Clear content structure that allows modern AI systems to understand context and purpose from the rendered HTML
  • Comprehensive methodology descriptions that provide rich information about AI involvement

Why this approach: Modern AI systems can extract meaningful information from HTML content and natural language explanations, regardless of the underlying technology stack. Our implementation provides richer, more nuanced information about AI use than any rigid metadata schema could achieve.

Core Content Distinction​

Important

All frameworks, methodologies, and core insights are developed by Building Better Teams consultants based on real-world experience with technology organizations. Where we implement existing methodologies (like Strategic Domain-Driven Design), we clearly attribute the original creators while noting that our web-based tools and AI enhancements are our own development. AI is used only to enhance analysis, provide additional perspectives, and support content presentation.

3. Risk Classification & Compliance​

Under the EU AI Act, our AI systems are classified according to the regulatory framework's defined risk categories:

The following risk classifications are legal categories defined by the EU AI Act, not our own risk assessments. These classifications determine regulatory obligations:

  • "Limited Risk" systems require transparency obligations - users must be informed they are interacting with AI
  • "Minimal Risk" systems have no specific regulatory requirements
  • "High Risk" systems face strict requirements including risk management, documentation, and registration

Our systems fall into the Limited and Minimal Risk categories based on EU criteria, not our judgment of actual risk levels.

  • No backend communication: No data is ever sent to our servers or any external services
  • RAM-only storage: Your data exists only in browser memory during your session
  • Complete data loss on close: Closing the browser tab permanently deletes all your data
  • No cookies or persistent storage: We don't use cookies, localStorage, or any form of data persistence

User-Controlled Data Management​

  • Export to clipboard: Some tools allow you to copy your work to your system clipboard
  • Import from clipboard: You can paste previously saved work back into tools
  • Manual save/load: You control if, when, and where to save your strategic analysis
  • No automatic retention: We never store, log, or retain any of your business data

Enhanced Privacy Protection​

  • No stored data to breach: We don't retain your data in databases or systems that could be compromised
  • No surveillance: No tracking, analytics, or monitoring of your business information
  • Minimal compliance exposure: Your data never enters systems subject to data retention laws
  • Complete session control: Your strategic analysis exists only during your active browser session
